The National Center on Education, Disability and Juvenile Justice

The EDJJ Professional Development Series reflects sound research and principles of effective instruction in juvenile correctional education and best practices in adult in-service training. These professional development materials will provide participants with relevant content and the instructional tools and strategies to immediately impact their students in juvenile correctional facilities.

The EDJJ Professional Development Series will benefit all professionals serving students who are involved in or are at-risk for becoming involved in the juvenile justice system. This may include individuals from education and special education, law enforcement, social work, parole, probation, rehabilitation counseling, the judiciary, social service agencies and parents.

Many modules have been videotaped in collaboration with Corrections Learning Networks (CLN). DVD's are now available through CLN.
